
Jill Davis has dedicated her entire life to serving others through her 30+ years working in the mental health field. Jill works with individuals, babies, children, adolescents, couples, and parents. She is the only certified Child’Space Method practitioner in Arizona and, as a trained educator and therapist, she is also a Certified Feldenkrais Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and career coach. Jill utilizes a body-mind-spirit approach with every client while incorporating empathy and kindness which puts everyone who meets her at ease.
Jill Davis began her career as an elementary school teacher, then a high school counselor, and eventually a career counselor. As the mother of two grown sons, and loving grandma to five grandchildren, she innately understands the joys and challenges of parenthood. Jill shares, “It is important to remember that parenting is a learned process. I can help you learn the skills to parent effectively and raise successful children and have fun doing it!” Jill goes on to say, “Because there isn’t one way to parent, I will work with you and your child to develop techniques that are best tailored to your specific needs and lifestyle.”
Jill’s holds a B.A. in Education and an M.S.W. in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan, plus an M.A. in Guidance and Counseling from Oakland University.
In addition to her formal degrees, Jill has completed training programs in Play Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Ego Psychology, Positive Discipline, Psycho-Drama, Career Counseling and Coaching, Stress Management and several types of Meditation. She conducts workshops across the country on stress, parenting, and career development and has created support groups for men, women, and co-ed groups.
She is also the author of two books: Life’s a Trip and The ABC’s of What You Can Be.
Although Jill has received many awards over her career, she shares, “My true reward has been the success of my patients.”
